01. Acne laser and Spectrum Light Treatments
A) Acne laser/IPL treatments:
One Lux V Facial Treatment.....................$150.00
(can treat light, moderate or even severe acne) (This works best for skin types
I through III).
For treatment price estimates of other areas of the body (chest,

consultation.
Individual Lux V facial treatments are a great value at $150 (and
may be further reduced by special offers, see coupon button). We like to start
out with four treatments approximately two weeks apart and then consider a
maintenance program of medications to assist in keeping the acne in remission.
The periods of remission are obviously variable based on individual
characteristics, but it is not unreasonable to consider a maintenance
"single" laser spectrum light treatment at 2 month intervals.
All acne consults are $75 with the physician . This includes acne
scars, acne laser and light treatments, and active acne. We do offer complimentary consults
with the laser specialist technician for laser and light treatments.
We are no longer doing cryosurgery on any new patients.
05. Vibradermabrasion
See special offer on coupon and Vibraderm pages. Very good treatment for plugged pores and comedones. Great for smoothing and exfoliating. Very comfortable and enjoyable.

We no longer treat poison ivy, please have this treated by your family physician, or ER, or medical dermatologist.
09. Sclerotherapy Injection of Veins
Our office is no longer doing sclerotherapy, since lasers tend to work better in our experience. Sclerotherapy often gives you more spider veins downstream afer 1-3 years of having sclero injections.
10. Skin Cancers-We no longer treat skin cancers, these are generally not treated by lasers.
11. Vein Laser
Treatments (Lower Extremities)
We can give you a better estimate of your cost with a consultation. Veins vary so much between individuals.
Some vessels improve a lot with even one session. Many require at least 2 or 3 sessions and then often yearly maintenance. Vein treatment costs respond to laser and physician operator time. It is generally priced at $150 per 15 minutes of laser time. There is a minimum of $150 for treating one extremity or a minimum of $200 if treating both lower extremities. Rarely, does a treatment go beyond 30 to 40 minutes and we prefer to keep them not longer than 30 minutes.
Dr. Leiker has found that the injection
of 70 units of Botox(R) Cosmetic, into several zones, provides the best long-term
results and best over-all satisfaction among patients.
We charge just over $10.00 per unit, which is among the lowest
price around for "physician- performed" injections. MANY CLINICS INJECT ABOUT 12 UNITS FOR $200 TO $300 AND OFTEN IT IS NOT FRESH AND USUALLY IT IS NOT ENOUGH FOR LONG-TERM.
Patients should be aware of “come on in gimmicks” and “over dilution”
of Botox®that is not an uncommon practice in clinics. For best results, 70 units can inject
four areas including, the glabellar area, central forehead, and both lateral
eye crow’s feet areas. This will provide the best cosmetic results and
will also provide the best long-term result with the most cost efficiency.
Though many people look to spend $200 to $300 per area, the lack of
enough Botox(R) injected, in enough treatment zones or muscle areas makes for a
poorer and more costly result in the long run for the patient. Dr.
Leiker always uses a new vial of Botox(R) for each patient, therefore
giving the patient the best results.
Our office has a minimum injection quantity of 70 units spread over
generally four areas. Dr. Leiker charges$725 for 70 units in the four
areas(most
other clinics charge at least $200 to $300 per area which would equal to $800
to $1200 for four areas!).
The
cost of laser tattoo removal varies depending on the size and treatment
sessions required. Each patient will be provided with an estimate at their
laser consultation. There is a minimum charge of $150 for a
laser tattoo removal session. We are presently restricting size and ink kinds.
Some states are banning or severely
restricting lipodissolve, and the original chemical used phosphatidylcholine
and deoxycholate. Our clinic is now using a "new formula" for what we call
injection lipolysis, which helps increase the breakdown of fats and improve cellulite areas.
The new formula only uses medication approved by the FDA or they are nutritional agents
or already in the body, and they have been well studied for effects on the
body. The use of these medications though for injection lipolysis is
still considered an off-label use or unregulated use by the FDA. We encourage people to also
consider doing the newest FDA approved treatment called VelaShape, which only requires
four sessions for the initial series. Do not be confused, this is not the old and less powerful
Velasmooth.
19. PORTRAIT PSR PLASMA SKIN REGENERATION: Compares closely with results of CO2 ablative
lasers, without the adverse reaction profile associated with CO2
lasers. Collagen can regenerate and improve for up to a year and can have
long lasting results.
